your hips aren't the problem, but your swing collapse are.
you have to swing your right leg low to the ground (it's too high right now) and then kick it towards your right ear as you begin to roll on your back. currently, you just don't have any swing power to even get you to the next stab.
your set-up is good but you just need to learn how to swing and collapse.
Yea, he's right. But, I wouldn't necessarily say the right ear. It's very relative. Just try to get it high at that point after swinging low. Work on it and come back.

windmill
That 1 windmill better be perfect. Because honestly, it doesnt matter how many you can do. It matters on the form and proper technique for windmills to be great.
BBoying for 5 months.
Working on:
Speeding up footwork
Mills
Walking turtle/ crickets
1 handed airbaby
airchairs
Freezes (Pikes, Nikes, Forearm Nikes etc. )
you should post a new vid.... but as far as re stabbing higher keep your legs spread and make sure you try and bring your right leg closer to your face so that as you are turning to restab the right legs height puts you up onto your arm(stabb) ofcourse this will change after your get them down and are more comfortable...gl
Lean your weight onto your shoulders when you're collapsing and while you're on your back all the way back to your restab. Kick your right leg lower, it's swinging too high. Don't bring you legs together while you're swinging, keep them totally separate at all times.
Also don't do that really weird stabbing motion. That does nothing for you and is an unnecessary motion. Start from handglide like you did in the first video and throw your legs and body into the mill.
