Thumbs up Jim's babymills a.k.a. munchmills guide!! - 03-08-2007, 09:09 PM

soo i've seen alot of ppl strugglin with babymills so i decided to make a guide
enjoy!

Introduction:
Babymills..what is babymills? babymills or munchmills are advance windmills which you barrel your arm and cross your ankles...the position is like a fetus position.

prerequisite
Now..if want you to learn babymills you must learn advance mills..im pertaining to Barrelmills..if your not familiar with barrelmills, barrels are mills with your arms out like your holding a barrel. still dont get it??? look at the vid at the bottom

http://www.bboy.org/gallery/showphot...cat=500&page=1
^^^ barrelmills..just to show you what it looks like if dont have any imagination!! lol

Now, were gonna start how to do babymills...YAY!
ok..anyways...here we go!

Step 1

Now, when doing babymills, you must realize the start is somewhat different from windmill because in windmill you put both hands down and collapse am i right?
For babymills, its like a coidrop start...you kick right leg to the side( i said right cuz my babymills go CW) then you plant your left hand down then swing or hook your right hand under!!! then you go down on your back...
so it would look like this!
http://i157.photobucket.com/albums/t...eng/IMG8-2.jpg

Step2

Once on your back, you want to cross your legs..ssrryy i mean akles!!
soo your on your back!!
winned your legs & cross it very aggressively!!
it looks like this!
http://i157.photobucket.com/albums/t...eng/IMG8-3.jpg
its somewhat hard but i beleive in you, you can cross it!! LOL crossing is quite hard to develope just PRACTICE. you'll get it soon, now once on your back & crossed your ankle,
this time, barrel your arms..now if u dont still get what im saying...your stupid!!ol im kidding nobody is stupid!!!
so anyways, as i said, barrel your arms & Keyword:HIGH KEEP THEM HIGH
OTHERWISE IT LOOKS UGLY!!!

Step3

Microphone checka, are you on your back? are you crossing your legs?
did you barrel your arms high??? ok..now for this part!!! the pumping comes in...
a.k.a. you hop on your back or jump..hopefully u get that part..it would look like this!
just ignore the whipping for now...
http://i157.photobucket.com/albums/t...eng/IMG8-4.jpg
when pumping you, want to pump hard but not too hard, keep your pumping consistently or normal or equal or whatever! Once you pump you got to whip your arms as hard as you can.. you go from your head!! it would look like this!
http://i157.photobucket.com/albums/t...eng/IMG8-5.jpg
well thats why barrelmills are required..too bad i didnt learn it ..you whip it! once you pump then whip your suppose to go back in your original position which is your back! YAY!! one babymills wohhooo party
at my house!! lol..now good for you you got 1 babymill now keep repeatin the process of step 2 &3.

if u guys do this properly...you would end up like this:
http://www.bboy.org/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=56146
last part is somewhat gay cuz im connecting it to headspin drills...LOLZ

Questions

Q: where do i get momentum from babymills?
A: you get your momentum depending on your start or how you whip your arms!

Q:How is your position in babymills suppose to be?
A: your position in babymills must be vertical...i know it sounds weird but it works that way!

Q: its so hard to cross my ankles, how do i mantain the habit of crossing my ankles?
A: ok..just practice better yet, when you go down into backspin only backspin,
cross your ankles together keep them together no matter what! hhmmkay?

Q: what would happen if i dont whip my arms??
A: you would loose momentum quickly and it would look weird!

Q: what if i dont keep my pumping consistent?
A:Blah!! your babymills would look so ugly like your goin to a headstand
or something..weird!

Q: what barrel looks like?
A: OMFG its been there the whole time, try to understand it! lol
^^^ just playing around....lol

OK..so there you have it babymills..i know its not the best guide in the world
but hope fully this is STICKY

anymore problems with babymills PM me!

peace!

i'm tryin them but i don't know do i pull my legs back in right after i pump to help with momentum because when i pump and whip (or do what i think is pumping and whipping) i just end up with my legs out and together and on my stomach

do you have to whip really hard to jump the gap from your left shoulder to your right? cw that is
