1st off i kno theres a million posts like this and i feel guilty for making a new thread exact same as other ppls, but i really wanna get mills good.
k iv been trying mills for about a month now, and i understand the concept perfectly, i just cant seen to do it perfect.
when i collapse i cant seem to get high enuff up on my back, and it creates a low stab, and i die out by the 2nd or 3rd mill.
can sum1 please explain in detail which way u face ur hand when u collapse from a handglide, and how u get so high up on ur back. i think i kick wrong too i need to turn my hips more.
I start in handglide position, I spin CCW, I wind both of my legs back then kick my left leg under. When I do I drag my left foot along the ground. = bad
Pm if anybody has some serious advice, I've been doing it this way for way too long and I'm frustrated.
Try starting with your kicking leg on the ground in handglide position and have your other leg a little higher up. It sounds wierd but it helped me when I had this problem.
yea sometimes...actually almost all the time your going to come to a standstill when learning power moves...flares mills whatever. i had that problem before and after a while i stopped and just thought about what i was doing and how i could fix it. different advice works for different people so its hard to just say do this and ull be all good. for rolling higher onto your shoulders lean foreward alot during the first collapse if ur starting from a handglide position and ROLL onto your shoulder once you get it right ill feel smooth. for the leg scrapping the ground you should try hanging your right leg in the air more. kick it up high when starting the mill but dont forget to keep your legs upen
wait so befor i collapes(did i spell it right) raise my right leg a little bit then kick my leg under mt right? and last question how you roll on your shoulder because the other night i almost did a mill (1st time) but i cant roll on my shoulder
Yes if you're going CCW then raise your right leg and (dont kick) SWEEP your left leg under...I'm pretty much at the same point all of you are at. Trying to link them (I can do one rotation) Remember, when your stabbed Magic2020, you are collapsing (It's collapse by the way, you were close) you are literally folding your arm at the joint and pushing off to the side with your other hand.
im jst startin out. i have tried to start mills, but it doesnt seem that i am strong enough, i try to spin ccw, but i end up flat on my back and all screwed up. what can i do to improve?
