well iv been watching mill vidis for a while, and like 80% of people start in handglide position. this is so difficult 4 me, i cant get any momentum.

the way i know to start is to toprock, then put a hand on the ground. sortof like a run in. so when i start im on my back, well side, and then is kick wide, and then swing it back in another direction. i get a lot of momentum, but still i cant keep my mills going, so im working on that.

do u rekon this different start is ok?

It's ok, but starting from handglide is much more beneficial imo .. it helps you get "muscle memory" for the movement of your legs and arms when you're facing your frontside, which helps speed up your learning of the link and more advanced starts like the coindrop.

anyways...if you can't get any momentum from handglide than you need to practice. It took me a month to get my collapse from handglide...
