how do i train the collapse with less pain? my hips are now like 70% bruised and i cant even walk properly ... help guys

Uhh...try whiping your legs n a circuler motion more and try to not land flat on your shoulder when you calapse.

you cant...just keep readin guides and practicin. Took me a month to learn to collapse and I had bruises on my shoulders and hips, but once you get the collapse you will be happy...

I think I'm gonna have to disagree with arfen. There IS a way. But of course, everyone's got their different ways.

It's called the airborne.

I learned it while practicing with a crew, who taught me a lot.

Start with your knees and hands planted on the ground, your back should be parallel to the ground. Next, if you're going CCW, use your left arm to "punch" through the gap between your body and your right arm.

... In other words.

Your left arm should pull back for power, then punch through between your body and right arm, and WHOLE left arm (from upper arm to hand) should be planted on the ground. This should help you by allowing your body to twist, and landing on your back safely. With your legs (that should be near your face, partially extended, or fully), pump them up. The twisting motion should make the pump from your legs twist and land on your feet again.

For the first few, you'll land the wrong way. I did. One time, I would punch through the gap, and instead of using that punch for power, I would just fall on my shoulder. Not a sexy feeling at all.

thanks for da tip but i dont really understand what u mean by punching in between .... is it possible for u to get a clip for me? thx guys ... appreciate it

wow is callapsing that hard? it only took me like a 4 days to master it...well anywayz thankz bboy_afren, my hips dont hit the ground anymore n i my legs dont bend as much no more ^_^
