learning barrel windmills- (w/ reg stabbing windmills down)

hey guys, i need some tips on how to learn barrel (ultimate goal- look so sick) and no handed mills, but i dont know how. help me out, i know how to do CCW stabbing (left arm stabbing) mills, but i cant transition to no handers.

do you have a clip?

i think if u have your stabbed oens all you would have to do is keep your stabbed arm not stabbed and closed on ur chest..right..

whoa, yeah i tried that, but i cant get enough momentum. all the clips ive seen of ppl doin barrels or no handers are goin wicked fast. what part of the upper body do u roll on instead of ur hand? ur head? what?

in barrels the arms are not closed on your chest ...the name says it all...in barrels your arms are like if you were holding around a barrel ..also the head is a big part too...be sure to roll across your head when you do em or else you wont have enough height

i attached a clip of some barrels so study the clip alright

yeah thats sweet, but i dont get how to generate enough speed to not stab or even get up onto my head. how do u do that?

its about being able to control the legs well and using the upper body ...si i think you should practise a little more on the regular mills too

also, does it matter that im on a carpet surface? i dont think so, cuz mills are more rolling than anythin else, but if im wrong tell me

When u mill try 2 collapse on ur shoulders / higher back. By doin this u will have cleaner and "less moving" mills

yea i wanna try barrels very soon. barrels r sorta like babies xcept ur legs r in the v shape instead of crossed.

im gonna build up speed with my stabbed mills first, though.
