OK check it. Everytime i do a windmill, im on my back and i start to spin and my groin kills me. Dont get me wrong i do pretty good windmills and plus i strech everytime i start breakin. I even strech my groin more then everything else. When i first started windmills and completed them, my groin never hurt like it does now.
I REALLY NEED A RESPONSE CZ I WANNA DO WINDMILLS AGAIN!!!
All in can really say is watch some videos of peeps doin mills so u can see how ur legs are supposed to be and thats about it.

Same thing happened to me for a while. Take off your shoes, the extra weight is pulling your legs apart too much. No shoes = no extra weight. Once you're real comfortable with that and a lot more flexible, put the shoes back on. It just means you're going too fast.
Ur tip really works about tha shoe and i did that but after i did like 5 millz and then it started to hurt again. I sucked it up and try to keep my cool but then i couldnt walk and went to tha skool nurse. It was worth it tho.
whoa u could of pulled your groin, cool down and if it starts hurting stop or its gonna hurt for a long time, i pulled my shin muscle and its been hurting for 2 months, also i pulled it by stretching
what do you mean how far you can go for splits, splits is splits!, anyways its good if your really flexible and almost got but when your beginning i dont think it is, also dont push your self trust me i know, it hurts like a mofo when you pull something. if your going to try to do the strattle stretch(the stretch to get splits) you should at least warm up, to a point where your sweating a little, and when i mean warm up that doesn;t mean to breakdance, i recommend doing a stationary jog, or crouch down like as if you were sitting is a chair except no chair under you and wait for a sweat, and than stretch
