Ahh lots of question, sounds good.

Alrighty, first off. The problem that everyone is having with the leg dropping in or out of your rotation into your second mill. Usually, people have this problem because they are either stabbing wrong, or not paying attention to what their legs are doing. The leg dropping is the biggest problem with the mill, because once u fix it, u have em.

Okay, so first, (CCW) are you kicking (bringing) your right leg up behind you when u roll over to your front side? Are you stabbing the mills or just rolling over your arms? Do you use your forehead in the mills to get your legs higher up behind you? Can u get to the handglide position easily, stop, and do a second mill? (stop and go mills) Usually the problem is the legs, but first, try to learn the mill without stabbing. You do this by tucking both your arms into your chest, parallel to each other and your hands facing the floor so you can push off with them and miss your face just in case. Not stabbing means your going to have to try harder to get your hips up in the back so you can make the mill. Usually trying this u'll have a few bruises on your hips and shoulder, lol. Its normal.

After u throw a few misguided attempts of non-stabbing try using your forehead to bring your legs up. Usually, if your head is lower, your feet go higher eh? So tuck your chin into your chest, wear a beanie, and attempt to roll over your arms and head. Make sure also to concentrate on getting that right leg kicked up RIGHT when you go from your back to your front. That leg keeps your momentum going. Your left leg after coming towards your head on your backside can just hang in the air, or follow your movement as you roll over to under. Usally your left does the right movements, its just your right that has problems.

If the head or non-stab arent helping u to get your right leg up, just keeping throwing mills and concentrate on kicking that leg up before you reach your front side. That way anticipating it makes it easier to do it, especially because your rotating already.

Make sure you push out of your stab, or off your non-stab. Keep your legs OPEN FREAKIN WIDE! The more open and away from each other, the more momentum you can gather by rotating.

Tomorrow I'll write some more help on that legs dropping problem. Peace out for now.

Oh on that starting position, start with your knees on the ground, not with your legs in the air. If you start with em in the air theres no starting momentum, only strength to push into the mill. Make sure you end up in a V on your back. And then when rolling to your front do the same as your starting position. Left then Right than Left for CCW right as your going to your front.

On the moving mills problem, how many mills can you do? Do you get about 4 or 5? Most likely the reasons your mill moves so far is because you bounce more than rotating, or push far with your arms out of stabbing. I used to move alot because my legs would come too close to my face on my backside so it would result in "piking" my legs too close while rotating over to my front. You end up sorta bouncing up and down while rotating all over the place. Its much like going into headspin from mills actaully. So just check out how your moving and adjust your legs appropriately. lol
Peace.

ya maybe, I found out today a friend of mine has 2 digital video cameras, and a laptop with him, so we might just get the vids goin within this next month. The only reason it may take some time is I would like to redo the ones I made on his camera, and I have to get a time we can film em. Its lame I know, I only wish I had the money to buy a digital camera.

hmm u lose all momentum eh? Well, first, your legs are what keeps your momentum going, so you have to be able to kick your legs in those rotations hard to get that momentum. Long arcs are the only thing thats keeping that windmill going, so make sure you have your legs wide open, and all the way extended. When u roll down onto your back, you going to need to be rolling across your upper back, so your hips dont hit.

In all likelyhood, its just your kicks that arent starting your momentum, cause its the first few kicks that are the most important. Keep working on that 1,2,3 kick, and push with your arms, swing your legs hella hard in those arcs that you roll through. If you keep trying to rotate, your body will start to pick it up and you'll get it soon. Peace.

As for vids on windmill, your talking like slow windmills or starting the mill vids? Not pros doing em right?
