I'm sad to say the video was too dark for me to see your arms, which is where i suspect your form could use a little tweaking

however you already nailed it on your legs, straddled more, and really its a sweep more than a kick, both of your legs are going bent and thrusting out instead of sweeping up...

but dont worry too much about that, the legs straightening out comes with time, once your body trusts itself to generate enough torque to safely get your legs around without smashing them into the ground

(ur body knows when ur legs are straight and u crash the crash is more painful on the extremities you hit)

so i realy just say practice...i want another vid tho so i can watch your arms, i think there might b something ther that can help u generate more torque which in turn will help ur legs

do the restab drill in that guide^, use ur feet, use everything, but make sure ur legs are straight and in a straddle, build those muscles up when ur done or before u do ur windmill zerg rush training :P

ya

new

video in daylight

kk I look forward to it street
Ya I just updated my new windmill log, I can push off with my non stabbing hand now continuously, so my windmills are speeding up and everything seems to be going good. I just need to stay on my shoulders, I don't always get so high for some reason? Thanks for the help

the text was good, even though I don't think turning your wrist forward should be needed because some people like to rotate around their wrist then collapse. Which helps beginners who have problem getting to their shoulders

Well str33t I agree, Personally I do the hanglide rotation too, which is why in my video I actually start with my fingers pointing back or off to the side i tell people not to turn their hand. Thething is, really think about it. When you just started this move, could you actually hold a hanglide let alone balance on one hand and spin? And then cleanly remember all your steps and go into the collapse? I just feel that teaching them to hanglide around first can get confusing, i know other guides actually teach that first, however I think it's too much for a newbie to learn who is just learning the starting freeze as well. I know when i first learned a baby freeze i was just all fked up and my wrist was all sore as hell and shet.

Yep. That's basically what it always is. Now are your legs having trouble staying straight or staying straddled?

My advice is to do awindmill, albeit in slow motion. Focus on your legs been straight and locked in a straddle the whole time. This might feel like a waste of time, but trust me, it helps.

I'm glad to hear, I like helping people. This move took me an embarassing LONG time to learn (I'm self taught, which is why I use really odd examples... E.G the clock and the horse)

I enjoy shortening the learning process for other bboys

One of the best windmill guides I've ever seen. I already have continuous but if I had seen this guide back when I first started you would have saved me months. Still helped me clean up my windmills more and understand what I'm actually doing.

The only thing I see missing.

You must keep your head on the floor! People say it isn't necessary, you know what? they are wrong. It is completely necessary because all other windmills use the head. If they don't build this habit of keeping their heads on the ground then they will have trouble with advanced mills. Besides the mills will look a lot cleaner if the head wasn't on the ground.

I understand having your head on your ground allows you to hit your upper back with greater ease, however I think that putting it into my stabbed ccw mill guide would be...hypocritical seeing as in my videos I don't have my head on the ground

However I will put in in the section for advanced techniques, along with the rotation in hanglide and other such things that new windmillers shouldn't worry about until they can squeak out some stabbed windmills.

How can you say its necessary when I've seen many bboys do good windmills without their heads on the floor. Which means its not necessary, its just a preference.

Wow!
This needs to be stickied, along with that other guy's guide which stresses torque.
The old windmill tutorial stickies need to be removed.

I'm still reading the tutorial. I got a good first rotation, but have trouble getting into second rotation nicely.
Good job on the tutorial!

YEAH i juggle.
