How To Rip Songs or Film From Online Videos Guide -

Okay people, maybe this will help in case nobody can identify your song or its a live freestyle by a DJ. First you will need to be able to download the video itself. This is done by download Mozilla Firefox first (It's an internet browser much better than Internet Explorer)
Firefox - Rediscover the Web Now you need an extention thats called Video Download Manager. https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/2390/ Restart your Firefox browser and you will notice a little paper like icon on the bottom-right of firefox. Now you will need to get the webpage with your Youtube/googlevideo/mediacafe video on it. Then you double click on the paper icon. For this guide to work you will need to download your videos in the .FLV format. Simply choose the correct "Save As Link" and before you click on save you will need to enter the name of your file (Still in save as) and put .FLV after it. This will let videodownloader know what format to download it as. Next you need to reformat .FLV into a Usable Video File Such as MPEG Or AVI. Riva FLV Encoder - Free Software Downloads and Software Reviews - Download.com After you download and installed the program you can need to open it. Where it says Input choose the .FLV file you downloaded. In Output choose the folder where the new format file will show up. This is important otherwise it wont work: where it says output. Put whatever title you want but put in .AVI after it. (dont forget the . sign) Notice that this is a Decent Video file format in case you want to keep the video itself. HERE i just want to say. Because i know its a lot of unessesary work for a music file. YOu can just keep the video at this place and leave it. But if you want to get your track on a CD or just permantely on your PC as an MP3 then keep reading. All you really need to do now is download another program to guess what ? YOur right! format the fucker again. Video mp3 Extractor Download. Video mp3 Extractor extract audio from Video AVI, ASF, WMV files direc Download, Install, Run And you should be able to do the rest yourself. Now you have an MP3 From your favourite Youtube or googlevideo videos. |

I'm having trouble with the Riva FLV encoder part, I downloaded it, and I did what you said, but when I look back at the video, its only 34 seconds long out of 7:48, I putted 450 in the duration thinking that would help but it didn't work either... help plz

hmmm. Shame i havent got it at the moment its because ive just got a new computer. BUT !!! LISTEN !!! i had this problem also and it could be because you HAVE TO watch it first with the RIVA PLAYER just watch the whole thing. Also make sure its the right download and stuff. Hope this helped.

yo i use nvidia nvmixer, and select stereo mixing option, so when i start recording a sound, the computer get's the sound direct from my soundboard...
i use goldwave to record the sounds....... sry for bad english. |

Yeah i use some of my software too and not the way i have done in my guide because some of the stuff i have is licensed so i didnt know if there was a free and if there was if they had that option in. Obviously DJ's will probaly some better ways than the guide but oh well its the simplest way to do it pretty much for people not so experienced with PC's/

Yeah it does lol. Its such a fucked up way to get audio of a stupid video lol but ya know. Gettin a video is an artform itself... so is converting and so is ripping music lol.

hehe i was gonna write something like this, my way was different though and took a lot longer but it went a lil somethin liek this:
-first you have to get the vid on your computer(explained in detail above) -open windows movie maker and import the file for editing, trim all parts from the video not including the song (like the intro or somethin) (this step is not neccessary if the vid just has the song, this makes the process much faster) -after you have the clip with just the song you want burn it to a CD-r, wich only supports music files and the file will be converted to mp3 or wmv or watever. -take the cd out and then rip the contents of the cd back to your computer and youve got the song on your comp yay! the quality of the song isnt as good as songs taht you download or get off a store bought cd but hey, you wanted the song, and now you have it. |

Gay. It works for YouTube and shit but I tried downloading a video from PcPlanets and it didn't work. It says error invalid URL or something but it says on the site that they support videos from PcPlanets. Can I get some help on this?
