Street Poppin Battle in Hawaii -
08-10-2009, 03:09 PM
Ignore the rantings in the background, some homeless guy was being retarded. Anyway, saw the crew dancing, and just battled for fun. I knew I would lose =P The guy's name is Quick Flex, and if anyone has taken workshops with Poppin' Pete, you might know this cat. Peace. ~Atrain |

Eh... Quik Flex was on beat for the most part (I didn't bother to turn up the sound too much...for obvious reasons). As for the thread starter, real talk: you have to take it slow. Not only with your actual dancing pace but also the learning process. Learn how to dance. You weren't only off beat; you were completely ignoring the music. Seriously, how are they going to clap for you and you still hit off beat...
Work on your foundation and build onto your popping. It looks like a bunch of moves right now. And this video exemplifies how long your moves last...especially when done off beat. Good luck. |
