Hey there LX-treme how are you ..ok here's the meaning of the word
"YERK" : something that urges or stimulates into action but not real !
and this is the reason why rockers of yesterday decided to use this name for this move it was because that was the meaning of the word and what happens in this move .. you see everytime that we do a yerk we also pretend that we are stabing , shooting , punching , blocking and also kicking .. but it's very important that when we do create of use these amaginary moves that we complete where is that weapon coming from and where in this weapon been put away ... you see in the history of the out-laws or gangs what ever is that you want to call it there was this thing call an apachie line the apachie line was an element that was used in order to join the gang,, when you were late to a meeting a way of paying your dues and if you ever ran from a rumble or backed up from anyone and especially when you gave up your colours and it was also used when ever you quit the gang...
the apachie line would be form as an alley of members of the gang split up into two lines facing each other waiting for you to walk down that line a line that would taken anyone three seconds to reach to the other side but when there was 25 on one side and twenty five on the other side with sticks whips fist steal toes Mc boots and large rings company by knuckles... it would seem like an hour journey and a month of recovering... but thanks God no knifes or Guns ...
that's is what the rock dance simulate a Battle for your life against an opponent with weapons , fighting and in a huge line...call the apachie line ..
the move the Yerk is what gathers this whole packge up by calling it
"""something that urges or stimulates into action but not real !"""
Listen when I came to this dance call rock I walked in .....in the middle of the dance because according to the peeps that I conversate about
this dance was a dance created back in the early 1960's so the early 1970's was consider the middle of the dancing years.. But I did hunged out with many rockers from the mid 1960's that were still around in the 1970's and spending the time with them gave me the expirience to share what I'm writing today ... The dance rock was a hobby I know that some peep do not like the way I phrase that but I rather phrase it that way than phrasing it as a buisness.. It was what I did infact something that I turned to when I decided that hurting people and fighting for something that I didn't own or even attacking people that I only belive my side and not theres while living my gang was humanity cruelity So I turned to the Rock dance I started to look at it as a new hobby which it turned out to be MY LIVE something that I will never forget it became a HUGE part of me ..
So today when I talk about it ....It's not just me making things up or pulling anyones legs or expecting peeps to appriciate the knowledge that I share with them it is me BUZ FROM TOUCH OF ROCK giving you the real side of this dance that once was a part of me and a memory that I will always treasure and share with my kids and also my grandsons.....
