whats up everyone? imo as buz stated there is no line to cross when dancing how you feel.

the difference lies in your approach and how it is executed. if you are in a bboy battle and you go up to someone and burn them a little in your tops and go down for your set then you arent rocking.

rocking is done:

1) on a line or in a circle by yourself or with an oppenent.
2) to certain songs(i.e. funk, soul, rock)
3) to the entire song not just the break

How do we sound alot less and not a complete understanding....

I want it to be a complete understanding because it's like I said what ever dance is out there it's a creation of everyone because everyone has different styles and we all in some way seem to create or add a new step or two.. I never want you to think that we set boudries to what a bboy a popper or a top-rocker can use when it comes adding moves from up-rock ....
Because up-rock is just the name not a moves..Up-rock is a name that can be change from one year to another and no-one can say anything because is not copy-righted meaning no-one owns it !! If anyone was to say that they own it well they are wrong because if these dances were owned,, In that's case
break dancing would still be call break dancing not bboying and up-rock would still be called Rock not up-rock and popping would be call the robot not popping ..So we need to erase that mentality on how and when could we use the dance Up-rock if you want to put peanut butter on your pickle and eat the dam thing than do so more power to you beacause no-one owns the way you want to eat something now if it was owned than there would be rules and boundries ...



The point that I most argue is when a peep says that he created the dance Rock when today not even rockers from the late 60's and I that was rocking in the early 1970's can say that because in order for them and I to do what we did we also had to see it and learn it .....

So MADD do your thing my brother just don't stand on front of BUZ on a apachie line because I would have to burn your A~#*~* HA HA HA HA HA ....

and my point was that he was going down the right pass from the biggining when he chose to use the rock moves I don't think that no one should feel like that and in that case I don't want him to feel that we were alot less militant than everyone else because I don't think that any of the cats that we vouch like Numbers ,Buz , King Up-rock , foots , Tiny Love, (wc)Danny Boy , Kick, Noel, Charlie rock , mike , Wary, P-jay , or Bandit .. who treasure this dance as much as anyone .. so I don't want to leave it as he's all clear with us BUZ ,NUMBER , METHEORES & BANDIT I want him to understand that everyone that are deep into this rock thing does not have different idea on how and when anyone should use this rock dance because I dislike the fact that he got this Idea that we the rockers are saying that they the bboy are stealing moves from us.. and that's what I meant with no-one owns the dance rock ..... and to feel free and use it anyway he wants to ...

Now if he would of said hey guys is it ok to rock bboy and top rock at the same time ..than it would of been a different issue ..
