Do any uprock tracks have any breaks in em?? Jus lookin for new types of music to break to, besides breakbeat (techno) and hip hop. I dont wanna offend any true rockers tho, so if yall find it offensive to be bustin out on ya music, i'll step...ya kno?? Respect! Peace!

Pretty much every genre of even semi-popular music since the swing era has had drum breaks in at least some of their songs. From my highly-limited (but as far as I can tell, accurate) knowledge of rocking, the break of the song is where you pull out your most intense moves and stuff, so the fact that a trend exists implies that most of the songs have solid breaks.

In short, yes. And I don't think anyone minds if you bboy to a rocking song, just so long as you don't rock to a hip hop track, or something...

alot of djs back in the day were already playing funk&soul/salsa music. b-boy pretty much dance to anything they feel they can get down to. so for that time(early 80s) the djs were playing just begun, apache, dance to the drummers beat, etc.

these are all considered rocking songs, but were adapted by the bboys at a later date.
