I've been reading alot of posts here the last few days ranging from what is uprock, to why can't you mix uprock and toprock. Anyway, I found this clip on Youtube. Not sure if it's been posted before, but it's what I'm guessing true uprocking looks like. And if so, it's a hell of a lot different than I pictured. Hell, I've found guides on the net that say proper uprock is always up on 1, down on 4, so it's always guys up and down every 4 counts. The guys in this video don't do down nearly that often.

there's a lot more to uprocking than just going up and down on time. uprocking is an imitation of battle, every move has a significance. burns and jerks, arm motions, they're all symbolizing different attacks, strikes, weapons, blocks, dodges, and then it gets more and more imaginative than that. going 'down' is just getting low, attacking low, dodging, ducking, it's not like part of a series of steps or anything, to uprock you gotta react to your opponent and be on point with the music.

this is uprock right here, i forget who he's facing but that's rob nasty from rock force crew and 'forever we rock' rocking crew, this is in new york, original rockers approved rob nasty uv bein a true rocker.
