I disagree.
Toprock is a simple rock to the beat in which you begin to introduce your sets. Uprock is a more "aggressive" or such form where you are engaged in a non-contact combat. It moves to a particular pattern. You are DOWN on the FIRST beat and UP on the FOURTH beat.
I.e. the beat is 1 & 2 & 3 & 4 & 1 & 2 & 3 & DROP & back up to attack position or whatever & 2 & 3 & Drop & up, etc.
Therefore, Uprock has become it's own category and form. And thus, IT SHOULD NOT BE THE SAME AS TOPROCK.
But by all means use it.
