This is a brief news flash of what happened at Total Sessions this past weekend in France. When I get more info and/or clips I will post them.

To make a long story short. The event held an Uprock contest, where King Uprock was the guest judge. In the process many of the contestants were not completing the song's and therefore eliminated for qutting. So, some cats were booing and yelling saying that this is bullshit that Uprock has evolved - they didn't like the traditional rules. So, King Uprock grabbed the mic and said "Whoever is booing to step against him in the circle right now!" I won't name names but one cat came out and King Uprock tore him a new ahole [literally]... he got a "Dick Burn" right in the ass, lol! So the cat left the floor with his head down. King Uprock grabbed the mic and said "Next!" The crowd went nuts, as many have not seen real Uprock ever, especially performed by the best. Then another cat came out... and the crowd was "ooooh shitting" because this cat is popular. BOOM, King Uprock roasted him as well... that the cat stopped dancing and gave King Uprock a hug and props. King Uprock grabbed the mic again saying "Next!". No one stepped in... and the battle commenced BUT less cats wanted to participate thereafter, lol.

No disrespect to any of the contestants... I give props to whoever gets on the floor BUT it's a great thing that the REAL was Rockin France this weekend!

Much props to my man King Uprock for repping Brooklyn to the fullest!!! WEEEEPA!!!

yo i heard king uprock or someone else was going to start some real uprock classes down here in the MD VA DC area. i went to king uprock's workshop at Whos hungry 2 in Va, and they were all sayin how we were going to be the first students in this area to learn it.

but yeah, that man is inspirational. just seeing him up close, you can see so much history of the dance.

ralph "king uprock" is one of the few if any uprockers that if you put him in a situation of rocking against more then one person at a time he actually burns faster and simultaniuosly. he showed me a few methods of this and ive only used this a hand full of times. but i still have yet to shine like this brother against so many.

well if you can ever make it to las vegas we do an event on the first friday of every month. its called "the get back". its a funky soul dance party. last month was our 3 year anniversary. we had phoreze(stones throw records), melo-d(beat junkies), and special surprise guest dj z-trip.

there was about 1000 poeple in attendance. and cold chris, danny boy and myself always represent. many bboys show up as well like.....knucklehead zoo, floor rock,quiet riot,mr. freeze etc.

this isnt a bboy jam although bboys show up and break. but if you dance all nihjt with a bunch of guys at "the get back" then your gay. cuz we always have the finest ladies in attendance.
