Sup folks,
As you can see I deleted the majority of threads in the Uprock section. It was about time and thanks to Tane for granting me Admin status, I'm gonna make sure this section stays on point. MAINLY because the majority of the "Hip Hop" world dosen't know or understand what TRUE Uprock is. So with my years of learning, along with the Original Uprockers I'm in contact with, I will do my best to bring you the most accurate history, information and footage on the most underated dance form the "Brooklyn Rock Dance".
If you are personally offended that I deleted your thread or post - I apologize BUT get over it. It's for your learning. If you are really interested in Uprock, you'll be happy I did what I did.
Now, here are the reasons the posts were deleted, along with some rules to go by, so that your posts won't be deleted again. YES RULES!!!
1. Fresh Start
2. Repetitive threads questions and/or posts
3. Misinformation
4. Wack-ass clips
5. Bboy etc. info in the Uprock section
6. Stupid questions and/or comments
7. People who don't READ THE RULES!
First and foremost... aside from the Moderators and certain members [who are Uprockers IE Breakeasy], NONE... NOT ONE of you cats know or understand Uprock. So how can you post?!! You must first go check-out thoroughly the informative Dynasty Rockers site:
http://www.dynastyrockers.com/index2.html , then READ threads by Tane, Stiff UK, Breakeasy and myself. This will answer most of your questions and/or give you new intelligent questions to ask in this section. With all due respect but Bboys CANNOT teach Uprock - not Ken Swift, Kmel, Zulu Gremlin, Rockforce, RSC, Fabel, Wiggles, etc etc. I don't care how great you think they can dance or how popular they are BUT that has nothing to do with it. Some of these cats are now learning Uprock and some have and will point you in the right direction. Unless you don't learn from an Original or Old School Brooklyn Uprocker, you're fooling yourself.
With that said, I hope everyone understands that I'm not being offensive or disrespectful but adamant about a dance I love from the heart and willing to preserve. Peace to all.
