I've learned counting is bad when dancing it make your movements un-natural and it's a bad habit the beat is the only thing that should move you this is not ball room dancing this is not about the step it's not about what everyone else does it's about taking the simple you know and make it your own style. "STYLE" is th key phrase and another good song that i've practiced to is the ERIC B and Rakim "don't sweat the technique" and Debbie Debs "when i hear music" because the hits are simple and well defined you can't miss them. Oh one more thing use the bounce method for your tops because with out it transfering your wieghts with out looks like your feet were stuck and you forced them. only stiffen them when your stepping twisting your hips to catch the complicated in the middle of the "bass hits". But yeah DON'T COUNT BAD HABIT because it will show on your face. just FYI
