I wasn't sure whether or not to post this in the beginners section or the toprock, cause it's sorta both, but anyways...

If you're good enough can you toprock to a whole song and do good while doing it? Cause in bboying I really like footwork and toprock to i figure I'll stay w/ just that for awhile, cause i'll prolly do better w/ what i'm most comfortable with for now. but yea...is it okay (for lack of better words) to toprock a whole song (while using different styles of toprock)?

You would need crazy stamina and alot of steps and even then there still wouldn't be any point. I don't know why you would want to, noone would take up that much time at a jam. Bboys arn't that patient.

Ummm haven't heard of toprocking contests have ya rival?

Top bboys can rock to whole songs, i can do it as well but my steps aren't nearly as fancy.

It's good to build up stamina and variety, it doesn't have to be really flashy the whole time, you can alternate between different toprock sets with basic indian steps while you cool down in between to keep your breath.

Peace

Name me one contest you've seen where someone has toprocked to a whole song.

It dosn't go down like that, it's usually 3 rounds or something.

I think rival thinks you're talking about dancing a whole song strait for one round. He's right it dosn't go down like that but i dont think thats what you meant in the first place.
