Have they improved at all? I dunno, I think they have, but I still need to better them much more. Please leave feedback for me, thanks ^.^

Don't step out onto your heels.
Stop doing star jumps.
Stop bringing your arms up near your head like you're trying to block a punch
Practice the indian step so that you learn to coordinate your arms with your legs and remember to swing your arms back when you step out, not the opposite.

That's good advice, but I'm the most uncoordinated mofo you'll ever meet :-)

Being uncoordinated is an excellent reason to practise, not an excuse not to practise.

I agree with what Rival1 suggested.

Turns out the man with the super fast mouth doesn't have the tops to back it up

hehe jk. You need some serious work on your tops though, they're pretty much whack sauce at the mo. Learn some basic steps and then learn to vary it and mix it all up. Check out what alot of other top bboys are doing and go from there.

Anyone who says to you "i developed my own style" is going to be at least partially bullshitting. Everyone learns from others and the best way is to get into the scene and see what everyone else is doing. You live in NYC dude, so get your ass to some jams and classes and go from there.

You can only get better from here and i think you know yourself that your tops need some serious work.

Peace

I think it will get much nicer if you follow some basic video tuts here @ the forum, Lemon's or mine for example. Good luck

Thanks all, I appreciate everyone's feedback. I personally think coordination is the key, and once I get down set sequences, I then have the solid foundation I need to "freestyle" it, which I've been doing all along. I just need alot of practice, and a stronger foundation-->I think. I really wish I had a shitload of free time, though. I'm at work on my computer most of the time im on here (right now im at work), and can't really break at work lol. Just like with my martial arts, when I had alot of free time, I excelled so much in MMA, but when school started, when I got two jobs, and started having a busy life, I noticed any free time I had was SHOT OF ENERGY, and I wasn't anywhere near my peak, and HAD TO QUIT (classes weren't available when I had free time). But I refuse to ever stop bboying. So if I seem laggish, it's not my fault, I'm just exhausted before I start! No excuses though, I gotta just keep muh head up and mind clear. Alright, again, thanks for the feedback!

I feel you EZ, even though Im not nearly as busy as you I know what it is to start bboying after a day of hard work..it sucks and everything looks sloppier
An idea is to do it before you go to work, just do some little toprock steps. It's a good exercise to get fit too. And maybe it's just me but toprock works addicting for me, once I have nothing to do I automatically go toprocking, to all kind of music(including Phill Collins LOL)

Phil Collins-->lol, I dunno about that! But I do agree with you that toprocking is addicting, cuz it is for me as well. When I start, it's hard for me to stop. Hell, I even get impatient between breaks when I'm taking a rest between toprock sets, completely sweaty from breaking and everything! When it gets too late to bboy because I gotta get to work the next day, I go to bed; but when I sleep, I don't count sheep--I count beats!

Oh yeah, I did on 07/10/2006 (posted it a few days ago):
