I realize practice is a big factor in Toprocking. lol. Which Ive been going for one year now and it seems like I dont have any style to it. Im doing the moves like cross stepping and put your foot behind the other. My question is how do you find your own style?
For example, bboy lemon. That shit has come natural to you, man. You have it down packed. For people like me that have to really work hard to toprock good? It is just suppose to automatically come to after you've been practicing for a while or is there any tips or advice I can get to find it?
I have like 5 different kind of moves to work with and I can move with the beats for long as hell but it just seems like when I do it. It seems plain and looks like what everyone else is doing.

Check my toprock vid(and Lemon's one is HIGHLY recommended of course!)

It shows how you can add some different hand movement to the same feet movement.

well i finally got some good stuff going today i recommend adding some kicks to ur top rock but not too jumpy at first of course u dont wanna lose ur balance and look like a idiot to start rite haha. i wish i had a camera. And theres always watching some more experienced ppl bite one of their moves and add something u want to add like a random hip or hand movement thats how i do haha. lemon is awesome by the way i learned like to top rock from his video i wish i started bboying earlier then maybe just maybe i would have some insane style haha

I can top rock!

Markos, you have some good ideas. I just don want to look like everyone else with their arms going to the side everytime I do a cross step. But thanks you to.

Everyone can add their 2 cents....

Thx yall, I took your ideas into account. I found a cure to getting your style! Energy! With the moves your already have to dance with. You'd be amazed at what shit you can put out of your ass when you put alot of energy in your toprock.

It takes pratice. The more you do it, the more comfortable you become. After a while your own style starts to emerge, just don't get impatient and take your time with it.
