As for skip step, it sounds like you have a pretty good idea for what it's like. It is a very fast style. I still haven't found a good clip to show an example.
What you are trying to define as a "Toprock term" is not. Wak is Freestyling period. Uprock has no count nor does it have moves that have names besides Jerks & Burns. No offense AlphaTrion... just gotta keep it real.

Peace

None taken at all. Always glad for the knowledge.

I'm not saying that what he's doing has an official name, it's just what I, and a few others on my crew call it. Me and my crew sort of worked out a vocabulary for toprock simply because it makes things much easier when we teach other something or when we make routines

Yeah, I feel you.

The reason I threw that in there is because I get asked these questions alot and I don't want to confuse cats out there. So, it's good that you mentioned that it's something you and your crew have developed for your personal learning - sall good.

Peace

the thing I like about bboying so much is that everyone has his own names and variations. That's unique in this dance and we should keep it like that imo!

Just a part in song structure, did you mean the significant changes happen in 4 measures instead of 16 measures? I think you were thinking of beats, because the stuff comes in in incrimants of 8 measures, or 32 beats, because a measure is a group of four beats... just wanna know.

Other wise, really nice. Really used this to help my toprock. Nice job man.

This is one of the best guides I've ever read, mad respect man! I've been breaking for 2 years and my toprock still sucks, a couple of months ago I realized that one of the most important things in b-boying is to dance on beat and I didn't do that. So I've been working on that and this guide really helps understand how to dance on beat. I downloaded 'Dance To The Drummer's Beat' and I'll be listening it a lot the coming weeks and practise to anticipate all sounds. Thanks again!
Hope you can add some vids soon, that will make the guide even better.

Now as you're counting notice that the piano comes in at 32 measures
Don't you mean 24 measures? Cause I've been counting a couple of times and every time I count 24 measures. Am I doin something wrong? I've been counting like this...

1,2,3,4 (1 measure) - 5,6,7,8 (2 measures) - 1,2,3,4 (3 measures) - 5,6,7,8 (4 measures) - ...

Another question: You said the following:
1 measure = 4 beats ...BOOM---BIP-BOOM-BOOM-BIP
BOOM: beat 1?
BIP: beat 2?
BOOM-BOOM: beat 3?
BIP: beat 4?

Am I right, or do I just don't get it?

No, you're right, I didn't mean measures. I meant beats. It's been a while since i've studied my music terminology.

BOOM: beat 1
BIP: beat 2
BOOM-BOOM: beat 3 and
BIP: beat 4

1,2,3and4

Well, a breakbeat isn't a traditional music term as far as I know. I have a friend who's dad is a professor in Music theory and I still have trouble explaining the concept to him.
