Would this be my own style? - 09-14-2003, 08:26 PM

OK please excuse this n00by question and don't flame me cuz i'm VERY new to this. I learned how to crip walk and incorporated some of my toprock moves I've learned into c-walkin...would this be considered my own style? Sorry again if this is a dumb question.

crip walk is stupid
if u compare crip walking to toprock its like comparing downrock to rolling around in circles on and on

This one time...this hot chick rings me up and says to me in a horny voice, ''Oh baby come over now, no ones home''.... So I went over to her house and no one was home..

i disagree i dont really think its fair to tell people what and what not to do its his thing and people should respect that, I mean its expressing yourself and who you are..i mean it would be pretty boring to see people just toprock without adding their own flavor or style to it.

oh i dont think its really comparing 2 of the styles

and this is my opinion so dont really freak out and get pissed about it

Crip walk - 09-19-2003, 02:42 PM

If the crip walk looks like hopscotch on crack, then whoever you watched (Or maybe you yourself) don't know how to do it properly. A good crip walk is smooth. I could cripwalk and balance a book on my head. Chili, the cripwalk is a good set of steps to use. I started out usin the c-walk and my uprock is nasty.

you mean "clown walk".

crip walking is strictly for crips...

if you're not a crip and still walk, then you're considered as a clown. therefore...clown walk.

the real walk isn't as bad as people claim it as. they've just never seen a proper walk and just throw ignorant comments according to the fake shit they've seen people do.

if you seriously want to mix your walking and toprock, then go ahead. i wouldn't highly recommend it but if that's what you think you want to do, then do it.

forget those who put you down for not understanding what you want to do.

remember, this is your dance...although walking isn't considered as a dance style.

this is who i am, this is what i do...
if i go in a circle and i automatically start tumbling...
it may not be a dance to you, but it's my dance...
