looks like I shoulda looked back on this post lol but yeah alot of my friends just cwalk cuz they think it's cool and they are who I mainly breakdance around so I just kinda wanted them to have something they could relate to but we aint "ganstas" or nothin lol just some kids who like to try different dances lol

As a sidenote cwalkin also kinda helped me learn toprock a bit better because It helped me get some flow and rhythm

People ADD techs to the 6step and those are considered original, ponder that thought. Anyways my toprock has changed in this whole time and I like how I'm doing it now (no cwalkin) and i'm just gonna keep practicin it. Thx for all your help and replies guys.

OMG. The C-Walk is alot like toprock. In both you incorporate your own style into it. Me and my friends C-walks look nothing alike but they are c-walking. So you guys chill and stop saying C-Walk is easy and is hopscotch on crack cause some of these videos of supposidly 'GOOD' toprocks look seriously Homosexual and like faggot hopscotch. A good 'signature' c-walk takes alot longer to learn than toprock and is much harder.

The time has come for the two parties to present their eveidence. - 11-15-2003, 02:18 PM

Aright, if this is sucha big issue why don't somebody put up some
C-walk/TopRock/Cripwalk/ClownWalk(?) clips and we the people
can evaluate the stylez.

Cause' personally i'm convinced that there is no difference.

Regarding the post about the differences between cwalking (whether clown or crip) and toprocking, there is a difference.

Toprocking encompasses your various steps and crosses, much like how cwalking has its heel-toes and what not - they are separate.

Concerning the post about cwalking - I don't really care about it. However, to the guy that said that crips don't care about people crip-walking... have you tried rolling around Northhighlands (Sacramento area) and crip walked? Would you like to see what would happen when all the Tongan Crips see you cwalkin' around their turf? I sure wouldn't, so don't say anything unless you actually walk the walk... and survived in Crip land.

Anyhow, BACK TO THE ORIGINAL QUESTION... if you feel your heart wants to incorporate C-walking, go for it... I'm not an advocate for cwalking, but I'm not going to tell people what to do... it's simply not my place. However, I can voice my opinion... and even though I say go for it, it wouldn't be your own style. I suggest utilizing what you have for cwalking and turn it upside - into something different but influenced.

Just my two cents on this issue - people who keep bickering back and forth, shuttup. I don't care who's right or who's wrong, don't try to create a totally new concept to what this post was originally meant for... if you guys still want to argue, why don't you create your own thread.

Engyn.
