cross step, cross over etc. descriptive tutorial - 09-07-2008, 03:05 PM

Hey i am a starting over breaking and im starting on toprock. now i seem to have trouble with making my cross over look good. anyway every tutorial i see is in another language or not descriptive like put your foot in front step back put other foot. its not very descriptive. now im not a text learner i learn from someone on a video performing and describing how to do the move. like i dont get a lean to one side or lean forward or point your toe or anything just step in front. now if some could please MAKE a tutorial on how to do this being very descriptive cause ive never done toprock and i know you say o its easy but everyones different and you shouldnt be telling a beginner that, thats horrible, then theyl go to a dance and look HORRIBLE and not even know it. theyl think there good but they really suck. Just like me. cause ive learned everything wrong from people who are like for windmill collapse get back up. im like WHAT? and i think i look good but i look horrible. now some of you know me on here and think im a douche bag cause they think i dont look up stuff BUT I DO. so im sorry. sorry for the long message and please help.

Peace and keep breakin

Start with the basics please. that's all i ask

If you can't learn from lemon or yello's guides or the gamblers guide or any of the other guides there is nothing I can make that will make it logical for you...

You don't just watch a video and get dope, you watch a video practice it, and compare yourself to people you know are doing it right, critique yourself, figure out what you're doing wrong... post videos ask for help....

This isn't rocket science but you do need to think about it a little... nobody's gonna come hand bboy skillz to you on a silver platter.
