Hey Those are my first Swipes...trying to get MAster Swipes
how to get'em ?

I would suggest you just keep practicing, when i was at the stage you are at now, i also thought there was something wrong with my technique.
But after a month or 2 of hardcore practicing i manages to control them very well.
I guess you just have to build up more muscle memory

yea I got swipes down now the same way ur doin em....im actually thinkin about puttin up a detailed guide. I kinda hate it when ppl say how easy swipes are. Theyre not easy... they feels awkward i know. But u got the motion down and it just a matter of getting used to it. Like that guy said...with muscle memory and all. Ur on yur way, just make adjustments where u feel more comfortable.

thanks guys...I know they feel awkward at this stage, but each time I do them I feel more comfortable..I will get the muscle memory soon, just like windmills.
one thing that's holding me in this vid is my right leg when jumping at the beginning, AND im not keeping myself in the air, which is necessary..

why ya doing them from standing? My friend can do them from 6 step like a regular swipe... he makes them look so easy too haha

Yeah thats how my buddy does them but his leg that is in the air never touchs the ground it is always up. and Freedom...master= standing? lol I know you can do them from standing but it looks a lot better if you incorporate them into your downrock/footwork.

If you do them right and continuous, the spectators will forget you even did footwork or how your tops looked! =) Im not sure having your leg in the air all the time would be called a master swipe =/ wouldn't that be a 1 legged with legs apart?

when I do them from standing, It feels more like a master swipe, since im placing my legs on the floor (my first leg) after it rotates more than 270 degrees, so my swipes will look rotating...got what I mean ? lol english is my third language.

I confused.. I think master swipes are the ones that:
-you rotate much more than refular swipes
-your legs are wide apart while in the air
-its fast
-controlled
-waaay cleaner than the regular swipe.

look at the video i posted.. -.- thats a masterswipe. you don't rotate more than regular swipes but it looks as though you do, which is awesome.

the thing I dont like about that click2dance thing is that hes jus doing one swipe multiple times....not multiple swipes....if that makes sense (?) Anyway, to fix the crash, jus try and get used to keeping your hips elevated. Kinda like if youre standing and lean back to touch the floor with your hand while keeping your hips where they are, not crouching down to the floor.....

^ yeah..
in this click2dance vid, he's touching the floor with his right leg, and...I've seen waaay better master swipes than those, but still a helpful vid.
