keeping my leg sticking out

I'm learning my swipes going CCW, and when I get to the point of twisting my legs around I can't keep my left leg straight. Anyone else have this problem and can help me out with this?

And also I can't figure out where to place my hands when i swing them around so that I don't drift to the side when I'm trying to swipe. Any advice on this?

uhmm... when you go CCW, you should keep your RIGHT leg straight, it's the leg that you sweep under your left leg

I thought that you tell which way it is by your point of view, not from what someone looking at your front would call it.
