I dunno how helpful this is, but this is how I do it... (I don't know how you categorize the direction of swipes, whether it's based on rotation or revolution... so I'll just say that I swing my arms from left to right) be careful not to twist too far or you'll lose momentum, and once you get your right hand down, get all your weight on it by leaning on to it and humping the ceiling. when you have all your weight on your arm, and you humped the ceiling to get it there, you should have enough height for the rest of the swipe.
