Im reading how to do swipes and looking at pictures and i think im doing my swipes wrong. I start out on my hands and feet (stomach up), then i lift my Right leg. i bring my left arm over my body and my body turns to the right, then when my body does a full rotation i catch my self with my left leg again. but im reading that if you lift your right leg that you should bring your right hand over your body and turn left, and if you use your left leg then you should bring your left arm over your body. Is this true? cause i can do swipes the way that i learned but i just dont want to do them then have everyone say that i did it wrong.

i lift my left leg up and my arms swing to the left, my right goes over my chest...


you may be having problems with momentum, cuz i can do swipes fairly well, but i can not do one footed ones without starting from standing. try doing 2 feet first. .

if it was me, i'd be happier if i found out i was doin em backwards as long as they looked like what i wanted them too. thats style. take the ordinary. smash it up into pieces, now start from scratch, but this time make it extrordinary.

thats good to hear, i video taped myself and they look good for my first time. My back is straight and my hips are up, and i keep my leg solid. but its good to hear that i have style lol
