um helmet gives the best protection...um the next best thing that doesent make you look like an idiot is a headspin beanie...you can get them at jams

practice both ways for the ability to do headspins on your head,but once you can do them on your head as good as helmet.WEAR A HELMET ALL THE TIME minus like 1 or two tries a night or your gonna burn your damn head up.

...The only guy I know who has dope mega-10yr headspins just switched over to a headspin beanie... says he has more control over them with the beanie, but he learned on a helmet.

Aside from jams you can also try to find them here, but I've NEVER seen wildstyle actually say they have them in stock... its always 'out of stock'...

Beanie all the way. I use a beanie (spin cap) with a bandanna under. I bought the cypher one.

u should def wear beanies with something underneath for further protection like a cloth or i kno some ppl tht even use thin cardboard stapled to the hat, u wouldn't wanna grow bald

get a tall beanie get deckchair material an stich it on from the front of the head to just aboot the crown at the back,leave a pocket at the from an put velcro at the fron an you can slip a mouse mat underneath an the pad wont move about an when it gets old tak it out an put a new one,

these bought headspin hats are shite for practice no padding an they are only one layer thick an it burns through to fast an the material on these is different to deckchair stuff buty swiftrocks hats have the good material but its small an theres only 1 layer,
pablos hatys from holland are the best bought one it has the pocket an its 2 layers but the have put it to low on the head so the hat feels shit on hey that might be just me,but most folk that i know have moved it on the hat,oh an the stuff on it is black an white stripes... nice
