Mmmm that's not true... Two of my friend's have short hair and its a killer for them if they try headspins without beanies. But for me, i have long hair past my years, you know, kinda like that Casper (from BB crew) hair style....and I feel little to no pain. So it all depends on the person really and what your using. I use a beanie so I feel great after head spins. Crowd loves it...and I guess their ok. Sometimes you just gotta do em. Kind of like taking a shit.

Just do it stop asking questions about your hair, we're bboys, not metrosexual pussies worrying about a little pain on our heads.

Pain is pretty normal for anything you are practicing frequently, once you get to the point where the pain is getting serious you should stop to let it heal and get stronger, and when you return you'll feel less pain and your head will be stronger than before.
