When I backspin, I will slide in one direction as long as I spin. Like when I'm downstairs, it hurts like poo to backspin because I will windmill, backspin, and then spin off the edge onto the carpet. I really don't know what I'm doing wrong, but if anybody has had this problem or knows how to fix it, I'd appreciate it if y'all helped me out with this one. Thanks.

your not spinning on one small point on your back

How much are you moving? If it is not much, then don't worry, but if it is lots then you are not tightening up and moving to your upper back to get rotation. You are using the momentum to move in a steady direction, instead of around and around.

...Either that or your back is loopy or something...
