....It kinda depends.Me personally think you should devote to other moves regarding your foundation...so when you if you ever get the courage to bust in public, you can do something worth a lick. But i cant say that because i havent seen your moves and how u perform them

In my country (argentina) if you like to headspins, the first thing you what to do is a good heaadstand position (one hour) and then the "street" bboys teachinnng u to spin and learn to eeasy

Word, non-idiots all over the world agree a one hour headstand is stupid. As for the rest, i_efx is right again, listen to him. I'd like to add though, if you are really new to bboying, you might want to wait with headspins a while, not so much because it's dangerous or anything, but more because it probably won't work out for you yet.

"What I tried to say is that the hour in the headstand is to strengthen the neck (so you don't break it doing spins, etc.) I'm not an idiot you are. We in Argentina are at the same level as the rest of you, so be quiet!"

I see no reason to disagree that an hour in the headstand may help. If you have talented friends who recommend that you practice that way, I would trust their advice.

But everyone may use their own learning methods, okay guys?

If he's gonna do that it's his problem, but it's not good if he tells noobs to do that, and I'm going to disagree with it, since it's dumb and I want to protect the Noob from doing it as well. Don't care if he does it himself, but "idiot"-like training methods should be stopped from spreading.

well doing a long headstand WOULD strengthen hand muscles AND neck muscles, at the same time helping with balance and stuff. Hey, the longer you practice the better the results? aint that right?

Anyways, as for you trying headspins as a n00b. SURE, why not?! Hell i'm doing it! It seems easier for me to learn than say windmills or something so why not!

I started headspins after getting handstands and some freezes (turtle) and stuff down. So start off with what you want, headspins are in a way faster to learn than other power moves like millz and flares.

Instead of a really long headstand, which is Still Stupid, try moving your legs in all kinds of weird poses (apart, together, tuck, lotus, etc..) and vary with hand***** positioning etc., that'll get you balance a lot faster then standing in the same position all the time.
