Who ever appeals to the law against his fellow man is ether a fool or a coward
Who ever can not take care of himself without that law is both.
For a wounded man shall say to his assailant
"If I live I will kill you, if I die you are forgiven"
Such is the rule of honor.

Sup Toxic, I think that your problem is that you're relying too much on the support of your hands.
Try putting all the weight on your head. You'll know you're doing this if your neck hurts but you'll get used to that.

Wait, before I add more, how long have you been practicing on headspins?

i think its all on your legs right now, your relying on the whip to get you everywhere. keep your legs in V shape, back straight, and weight on head (like J.san said) and slowly just use your hands to turn you. DONT WHIP yet. get the feel of staying on your head for now. after practicing that then you can go to the whip and with that practice in mind your legs wont be falling all over the place and hopefully youll get more spins on it.

learn to tap - 05-22-2005, 11:27 AM

I had posted the same solution to anotha person about this your headgear doesn't matter just make sure that your tapping right cuz a lot of people just whip hard and put there hands on the ground and try to whip again... THAT IS NOT TAPPING THE RIGHT WAY YOU WILL BUST YO ASS EVERYTIME... twist your upperbody faster than your legs and I mean fast if not you will not be able to catch the ground in time to save you if you are falling or leanin out of your headspin... But if you skipped the doggie paddle prt of learning how to headspin then you need to go back and do that starigt hand action, no whips, legs straight, and above your hips equally balanced.
