backspins on upperback - 03-27-2005, 04:30 AM

NY backspins were harder than I thought, I started windmills first but since I couldn't stay up on my upperback people told me to do get backspins first. I start in handglide position but after I do a windmill collapse I go directly on my back (not upper part) but only manage to get 1 rotation. I can't stay on my upper back is basically what I'm trying to say...uhhh help?

try to keep your body compact, close to the center of your spin as possible, best i can think of right now




some people say that can't dance, i tell them to watch MTV. apparently, if you can move your ass without movin your feet, you can dance.

NY backspins look bad!! there awesome if u do it fast it kinda looks like your a frisbee except u stay in the same place.




MAN IF U CAN BE A TIGHTASS BBOY/BGIRL AND U CAN GET STRATE A'S U R JUST RIDICULOUS.

do not keep your body in a tight ball. if you are at the stage where your getting 1 backspin, practice keeping you legss straight get on your shoulders. you can relax them for support at first and then get onto one point between your shoulders later. than get around to spining and once the spin is succesfuly and nice point on your back tuck it in. dont forget to freeze it.

NY backspins, no good, but lifting legs up more might help...

I dunno, just lay there on your back curled in a ball and see what you have to do to stay on your upperback. Just position your legs differently.
