HANDGliDE HELP PLEASE! - 02-26-2005, 05:45 PM

I'm obviously and newbie bgirl around here! & when I try to left my self up I can't.... am I too weak or something?? And I find my arms are shaky when I try to lift myself up... I to support my body TRYING to do the handglide I put my elbow against my hip bone... so is there anything else I could to make myself go up nad more balanced?

a few push ups prob wouldnt hurt, but i would move you hand up, i dont since you are a girl you do have a lower center of balance, but for guy we stab near our belly buttonl, and you may want to try lean more of your weight towards your head, but if you are shaking then you need to either breathe more or find a better spot for your stab because pretty much its just balancing your wieght on your eblow with your forearm as a pillar between you and the ground....

Thanks! Ya the breathing tip really helped! Also I forgot one thing that when I put my left hand against my "sweet spot" I can't put there right hand in my "right sweet spot" WTF!?

see i put all my wieght on one hand just just the other for balance, so i dont know...i think the best thing is hang is to just get your arms are far apart as possible without losing balance..it make trans into other moves easier
