Get a small piece of cardboard, or maybe just one of your covered text books. Put that on your carpet. Put something smooth under your hand, like a cloth or something and do handglides on your book/cardboard or whatever. Be creative.

Get a hat and some floor, put your hand INTO the hat and put your elbow into your stomache.... Lift yourself and push on with the other hand

Try on a smooth surface, and put under your hand a piece of towel. If your house don't got any smooth surface area, go to the gym man!

Personally, i practice hand glides on a smooth hard surface (ex. tile or wood floor) and i just put a piece of paper under my hand, no need to sacrifice a good beanie for hand glides...just my opinion

Dont bite the hand that feeds u, eventually everyone helping u will get annoyed...jesus.

Beginners giving beginners tips without understanding what they are saying is probally one of the worst ways to spread KNOWLEDGE.....which is the key to anything in life.

You're gonna burn your palms if you can actually execute handglides on a carpet! Well, that's if you can do handglides on it. Yeah, you oughta listen to these guys. As the name of the move implies, you're gonna glide on your hand, and you need a smooth surface to do so. If you're really that good or the floor's simply smooth, you can do handglides with your bare hands. I could do that for, like 3 rounds only, with bare hand to glide on a smooth marble floor. For starters, you can wear a plastic bag/paper on palms/beanie/fisherman's cap/similiar in your hand if you want to. When you're pretty phat with it, you can spin hard & fast enough to gain helluva momentum that you can afford to glide on just one hand.
