i just started doin headspins today and so far ive been able to get 2 spins with taping every 1/2 turn but the pain is stopping me from being able to get more is there any way i can stop the pain or does it just go away within time?

Just stop for now, you dont want to over do it nad not be able to do it for a week. Stop now and let it heal over night and try again tomorrow once or twice.
