I'd say only people from the M can gangstawalk (jook) but buckin by itself aint that difficult or hard to grasp. Id like to see more young catz in the M research their history and move back towards the gangstawalk side and leave the arm wave stuff to a minimum so as to not be confused w/poplockers and what have you (use armwaves to enhance the jookin maybe but dont focus on arm wave altogether like many Y2K kids seem to do nowadays except for a select few).....

Ok ok, i got the basics of gliding , however ow iam exploring gliding from the point of my toe similar to the mephis bucking style, how do yo learn to put all ya weight on your toes on one foot without it hurting so much. similar to the memphis bucking, or even better look up battle fest on youtube and look at te gur professor from brooklyn he is nasty, it looks like his feet are magic

i used to dance on flex lol , im from brooklyn , and geo , professor , ect i grew up with them , but their is only a handful in brooklyn that can glide on their tips that well . in memphis it seems that everybody glides like that. dont get me wrong nice in gliding and i can glide on my tips , but after awhile my shit hurts lol, i jus want to know a concept to help me with that.

basically bucking is poppin with a different flare and style to it. and from all the videos ive seen posted here about bucking, i dont see anyone bucking on beat lol.
its a pretty cool looking dance, dont get me wrong. but itd be better on beat imo. |
