you act like you're some kind of o.g. in memphis but it's funny that i been doin this shit for 5 years and haven't heard of you. if anyone remembers back like 3 years ago i would post clips of me bucking. and yes i can put my finger on what bucking is.

First of all, it's wack. Bucking is similar to popping except like people were saying it's just a mixture of gangster walking and glides, with a ton of waves and some tuts. the battles aren't geared toward showing how much style and rythmn you have; more like whoever can do the "best" taunt wins. I'm from orange mound and I'm white. I started bucking and it's impossible to win a battle against anyone who bucks. Because they've always got 20 of their boys to say that they won and you suck. The shit's wack and it's based around high hats and really nothing else. It's wack and if you like it you're wack. Try Bboyin or real popping. Let's battle at that I'll roast you, foo.

Before I start I want to first say I respect your opinion and after rereading earlier posts I too can see where Kunoichi and others gather a poppin type of feel (based on when you were first introduced to it, u saw it as it had changed to a different form by the newschoolers). My earlier posts stemmed from my knowledge of the dance style from the early 90s which was jookin, a different style and emphasis.... the kids that buck today were no more than 4 or 5 and therefore most of them never was exposed to jookin. Now thanks to youtube and better video technology u see alot of clips from the buckin era but no footage of gangsta walkin or jookin. So, I began to analyze the differences between the two styles and I can see how someon who is only exposed to the 2K version may see something similar than what the style actually came from. Bboy Nosy, you yourself said u only been doing this for 5 years and thats basically when buckin evolved in 2000 or 2001 based on what I learned from someone who does both styles and is from the gangsta walk era. For a while in Memphis, people in my age group thought jooking was dead until the youtube era came along (keep in mind Im too old to visit teenie bopper clubs therefore I didnt see there style until youtube)... Honestly, I thought it had faded during the mid to late 90s because it was hard to learn how to jook which focused more on footwork mechanics than todays buckin.

With that being said, I have been on a mission to find more original gangsta walkers and jookers and see what footage do they have which shows the difference between the early 90s style and todays style. Remember folks, even Kunoichi admits that styles evolve (even jit) so too did ours. Bboy nosy I dont know your age, but I'd say you are probably early 20s if you just started buckin 5 years ago. Both styles have strong points depending on the experience of the person performing it. From reading your post it seems your hostility is based merely on biased judging from battle experience than from the styles themselves....

no one has to post clips to be dope. let's get that cleared away right now.

Read the rules before you post, please.

If that person claims to have footage and would post it, I expect him to follow through with his claim when asked to. He did say he would post it, right? (now back to my chicken noodle soup)

I would REALLY REALLY like to know when that rule in the funk style world came about, cuz i remember not to long ago that if you didnt post a clip you suck. The reason why I know this is because im the one who didn't post a clip.
You guys are really funny....
This is for everyone, why is everyone transforming now???

Mr GangstaWalk you beat me to the punch however let me get an assist while you score the hoop.

Here is the clip of how Memphis get down for those who dont know...

By the way, thats what we mean by gangsta walkin. Back in the day more kids were like him but the style has changed somewhat but he still has the old roots as well as the new school vibe...
