here are the links (mirrors):

(right click and "save as...". it's a .zip file so you'll need something like Winzip to unzip it, and the video file is encoded in the .wmv format so you'll need Winamp3 or Windows Media Player to play it back.)

there's some botting in there, some air-posing, and i was trying out some martial arts stances... my friends and crewmates say that it's "my trademark" move... the Wong Fei Hong stance. lol.

well just... watch it. thanks.

simply awesome man u've progressed heaps. ur dancing a lot more rather than pullin out move after move. nice hits, smooth movements esp wit the boting. and ur wong fei hong popping stance has a very unique style to it! nice stuff.

btw ur bending backwards.. which i personally call 'neo limbo' lol... was kool. man u'll get as low as flattop in notime lol.

GliderzEdge: thanks man, i've been trying to "boogaloo" but it just isnt working for me, LOL! so i decided to just start working on my feet movement more. and... the whole thing, the Wong Fei Hong and the entry are all kinda like... what my friends call my "trademark" LOL... but ususally i'd bend lower.

and i like the way you coined it "Neo Limbo"... haha... now limbo rock... hmmm maybe i should try learning to WALK in that bent position... haha... you just gave me a new idea, haha!

kinda hard to boogaloo to BT, in my opinion. :-)
somehow that music doesn't give me the same feeling as Parliament.

whoa...I swear you looked like Raiden from Mortal Kombat or something. Looked like you were gonna fire a fireball!

He DID fire a fireball....heh heh. Dunno what I mean? around 1:58.

Propz man.

When some one's throwin' punches, it won't make a difference whether or not you can windmill, or hit a clean tutting angle.

Good job, man. Keep it at it...

You probably have the same problem with boog that I do, probably as a result of us both having thicker builds. Somehow, I can put twice the focus and effort into my boogaloo than a couple of my skinny asian buddies, and yet come out looking half as good. Skinniness = sharper angles. I think, for now, bottin is the best way to go as, for now, it feels the most natural to me, and appears to look the most natural for you as well.

Robot instructional? Just practice isolations and dimestops. Then... put it all toghether to make it look crazy.

as for your clip... everything you're doing is good. BUT (and there's always a but) you can listen to the music more.

as for boogin... do what you want. It's tough to learn just by watching clips, but that doesnt mean you can draw influences from boog-inspired dance.

Definitely your best clip, very good botting, and u kept it on the whole original.

If B LeVe's saying everything u r doing is good, then that should be a highly cherished comment. u have become a very good popper with the best botting in a clip on this site but........ for me your clean hits were best.

Don't let this go to your head though, there is just one major thing u must now do to become a great popper...

change and keep your popping name as "Syk-o-pop" (drop the p). now that's a name that will take u places

Mowicz: the chest pops part? haha, what fireball, man?

Trew: yeah, botting is the most natural to me, and next is waving (although my body waves arent good) cos i started out popping by botting. guess both you and i are in the same boat! you know what they say, maybe we should stick to what we're good at, haha!

B LeVe: like what Hit n Run said, if it's comin from you, thanks man. it means alot. i took another look at the clip and i realised what you meant by listening to the music more. there were alot of bass fill-ins that i could have followed, sound effects and cymbal crashes that i could have "added an effect" to. all i was doing was just dancing to the beat, not dancing to the song. thanks. i'll be working on that!

drawing influences from boog-inspired dances... that's... kinda like exactly what i've been doing for the last month.

Hit n Run: same goes for you, it means alot coming from you. thanks too. but, why Syk-o-poP? why drop the "p"? i dont really understand, haha...

Moort: maybe, one day, i may try to make a small clip of simple botting? i duno, botting is, just like what B LeVe said, all about isolation and dimestopping. (although i do the "recoil" effect alot). i'll keep you updated if i do make a clip or something.

this was like, the longest "reply" post i've ever made...
but thanks, all of you.

the sad thing is, i'm living in Singapore, and you may or may not know that in Singapore it is mandatory for a male to serve the army for 2.5 years. and i'm to enlist this December, so you guys wont be seeing much of me from this December to somewhere in the middle of 2006.
i dont know how i'm going to continue dancing and have time for my girl and my family, but this dancing flame will never be put out.

Wow, does that suck. Well, at least you'll be in really good shape when you're through. And, you can practice botting anywher, espcially if you're goin straight Robert-Shields-style. You might freak people out a little, but its worth it to improve.
