What's up... It's only right that I post this here... If it comes out funky, I apologize as all boards are different I am not used to this one's method of coding. But if some of you B-Boys/B-Girls in the area can make it out that would be great. The music will be D+B or Hip Hop all night. Hit up the emails or the myspace sites listed below for more info. Peace!
When BMC does something big, they do it BIG!!! And on June 3rd at BUMP will be a night to remember from this Connecticut crew and the showing of many more things to come... Known for their love of beats, brews, and good times they are pulling the entire crew and friends together for a jam that is out of this world and will be out of control.
They can’t just have a night filled with some of the freshest and finest Drum+Bass though we have to have some of our friends from Muck to join in on the madness, two old timers who set off the firestorm of Drum+Bass in CT (Remember Drunken Monk? And how can you forget Awake). And more friends from Breaksteel and Noty Productions with other sounds of EDM hosting an entire room… And yes yes!!!
A BREAKDANCING COMPETITION hosted by MC Napalm and Friends during a nasty and 1st time ever tag of two of Connecticut’s Turntablist masters!!!! Say What??? BMC doing a breakdancing competition?!! Yes, that’s right!
So put that together, D+B, Hip-Hop, Turntablism, All kinds of EDM and a breakdancing competition all at BUMP @ Humphrey’s East! This night is going to be straight up crazy! Check it out!

Revelation vs. Legacy
**1st Time Ever Tag Set - 2X2 SERATO SCRATCH LIVE HIP-HOP TURNTABLISM with Breakdancing Competition Hosted by MC Napalm!!! **

Two of the best turntablists in New England are coming through for this shindig. Not only are they doing a crazy tag set, but a 2 x 2 Serato Scratch Live Hip-Hop Turntablism Tag Set… OH MY GOSH!!! This is serious, I mean some SERIOUS business!!!
Legacy has been doing his thing for many years now, playing in New England and beyond showing many of you his impeccable track selection and impressive turntablist skills. Always getting the crowd moving, I can’t even recall a moment when I heard a bad set from this dude. And doing his thing strong for a year now, Dj Revelation is another immaculate turntablist who always steps up to the plate leaving the crowd in awe with a variety of killer tunes, and unthought-of of patterns… But pairing these two men together for a special set for the breakers, and music lovers is downright insane… During this set we will have a breakdancing competition judged by the “Funky Popper Locker” himself, Napalm and some special guests that will be announced the day of. Breakdancers and Hip-Hop!!! OH MY!!! It is a downright crime to miss this set!!!
**BREAKDANCING COMPETION hosted by MC Napalm and Friends**
One of New England’s Best MC’s, Napalm has been around the scene as long as many of us could remember in the middle of the circle, wearing an Adidas or Puma track suit with a Kangol bucket hat. You couldn’t help to watch this dude as his movements always locked you in and amazed you at how the human body or someone could to that. It was only right to have him judge BMC’s first ever Breakdancing competition and bring some friends along with him. And it is only right to have this competition during a 1st time ever and truly amazing set... Check it out!!
Congo Nasty
**Dubplate + Ragga Jungle Set**

St. Dirty + Torrential aka Congo Nasty
(THRESHOLD, BMC-CT) Myspace
It was a chance meeting of two very sick and crazy minds that spawned the onset this duo. These two dj's, Torrential and St. Dirty, are both known for their sets filled with amen riffs, deep baselines and ragamuffin lyrics. However, when they both decided to get into the studio together and come up with their own original sound that was when things changed, and changed for the better it did! In a way none of us could even imagine...
After rave reviews from their set in April’s edition of THRESHOLD, they are giving the masses another chance to hear their original sound and those infamous tracks that seem to have a way of starting a fire on the dancefloor, "001", Hands Up, Sound Boy, Alone, Hartford CT and "The Requiem Rmx" and on top of that, they will have more. Don’t miss this set and opportunity to hear some new music!
Miz-Eyesis vs. Meszenjah
**Drumfunk, Mash-Up, Hardstep, Liquid + Jungle Tag Set**
Mizeyesis vs. Meszenjah
(THRESHOLD, BMC-CT) Myspace |
(Awake, Ill-magic, BuckleUpBeats, BMC, THRESHOLD, Liquid Sky-CT) Myspace
As two of the most positive, spiritual and down to earth junglists in New England, it is only right to pair Miz-Eyesis and Meszenjah for this event. After their first tag set, one at THRESHOLD last summer and the other at True Production’s “Freeze” the two realized that their beats combined was a grand thing and an awakening message for those who were willing to experience the energy. Always very dynamic and vigorous dj’s, you can expect a set full of astounding mind bending tracks, deep heavy basslines and emotion filled music that you’ll wonder if you transported in and out of dimensions… From the sounds of drumfunk, to jungle, to hardstep, to liquid, to mash-up to jump-up, this set is planed to speak to your body, mind and soul! Don’t miss this set!
Dr. Funk vs. Nondeskript
**1st Time Ever Tag Set!!! With Fresh Dubplates!!**
Dr. Funk vs. Nondeskript
(BMC, THRESHOLD-CT) Myspace |
(413DNB, 91.1FM, Rush, Incentive, BMC, THRESHOLD-MA) Myspace
As it was said once, these two men are the some of the funkiest junglists in New England. And that is a great thing… Nondeskript always provides us with a killer track selection, and pulls some crazy turntablist stuff out of nowhere… And Dr. Funk, who you will be hearing of a lot in the coming months is a great dj with a no nonsense track selection always bringing the Amen madness or the Drumfunk. But what you didn’t realize is that on top of being dj’s these two are producers and have been working on tracks for months now that they will plan on breaking out for a debut set! You like hearing unheard of tracks, then don’t miss these two!
J7 vs. Mighty Mouse
**1st Time Ever Tag Set!!!**
J7 vs. Mighty Mouse
(RI-DNB, BMC, EMA, XBTZ.org-CT) Myspace |
(BMC, Drunken Monk-CT)
We all love J7 and we all love Mighty Mouse. Mighty Mouse was one who gave many their first gigs with his crew, Drunken Monk and J7 was one to take many great photos of dj’s everywhere. J7 and Mighty Mouse are both amazing dj’s and loved by us all with sick skills and great track collections. It only makes sense to pair them together, not just because they are fantastic, but their music always reflects their inner being of which is why we all love them. Expect dancefloor madness from these two with tracks arraying from Liquid to Hardstep, they are the dj’s dj! Word, don’t miss this set!
Tystik vs. Event Horizon
**Dark, Hard + Grimey Tag Set**
Tystik Vs. Event Horizon
(Muck Crew, BMC, Buckle Up Beats-CT) Myspace |
(Ill-Magic, BMC, THRESHOLD-CT) Myspace
The two guys are very jolly, happy and quiet men... Always supporting events in and around Connecticut and New England, you wonder to yourself, such nice guys… Until you hear their beats. Their beats are hard, dark, grimey and dangerous… Pairing these two together is only a proper thing to do. Influenced by the sounds of Renegade Hardware, Barcode, Evol Intent, Gein, Freak and Tech Itch Recordings, listeners and dancers can expect darkstep at it’s finest! Get ready to release the tension because, it’s going down!
Josh B Doc
**FINAL SCRATCH D+B Set**
Josh B Doc
(Rush, BMC, THRESHOLD-MA) Myspace
Setting off the night perfectly, Josh B. Doc is a dj known for mixing lovely melodies and danceable beats that have many wondering if this is Drum and Bass. Of course it is... That is why it is great to have him start off the night and set the vibe off right by putting your body and soul into a rare groove. But coming through with tracks off of Final Scratch that are exclusive is some serious dopeness, so get here early and don’t miss this set!
