Get ready for Michigan’s largest annual b-boying and popping jam! Last year, over 20 bboying and popping crews from across the Midwest and even the East coast competed for the enormous prizes. The potential of this MTA and the future ones have doubled in size because of the bigger venue we've booked. Also, there will be absolutely NO GUEST LISTS to sign in if you want to attend.
Expect the CREWS, the CROWDS, and the CYPHERS to be MUCH MUCH LARGER this year. Just wait till you find out below what talented and legendary dancers we've got coming to judge! In addition, one of the best breakbeat DJ's in the country will be flying in from Florida. The music will definitely be on point!!

DAY 2: THE MAIN EVENT – March 18th, 2006
Location: The University of Michigan – Ann Arbor

Time: Doors Open at 6PM, Battles Start at 7PM, and the Night Ends at 1AM
Price: only $10 dollars for your wristband
Policy for Camcorder: bring yours in for an extra $10 dollars - PLEASE do not post footage online without our permission
Format: B-Boy Crew Battles (4 minimum and 7 maximum)
Prelims will consist of 1 on 1 battles lasting 5 MINUTES EACH. The crew that goes out first does not end the battle (or you can think of it as: the crew that goes out second will also finish the battle).
The judges will pick the top 8 crews to proceed to quarter-finals.
1st Place Prize Package: 1.$1500 CASH,

For Pre-lims, poppers will be split into one of several groups to battle each other. Each popper gets to dance one round for a MINUTE maximum. Judges will pick the top 8 dancers to proceed to quarter-finals.
