Anyone going to this event or know more about it? If I read the flyer right, it's tommorow (Jan 17) between 6pm-2am @ Truck Drivers Union Hall, 300 S Ashland. If anyone knows what I'm talking about, respond asap... gracias....

Sorry Domes, didn't see this post fast enough.

Although I didn't get to go, some of my boys(and 1 girl) went and had a lot of fun.

At first they thought it was Outskirtz, but then realized it was just grudge matches and circles. They still went anyway, hung out with the Brickheads and rocked circles.

Hopefully we'll all be back for the next Chicago event. Unfortunately it won't be City vs City cos Waka said that it was going to be in Tennesee or some shit.

We're still going.

Yeah, instead of Outskirtz this year they did the whole "Chicago vs burbs" theme. There was an actual crew vs crew battle, but some dumbass threw a water bottle into the circle, so they had to stop it. So people just went back to making their own circles...

And about the city vs city thing, I think it's still going on (in chicago) There's some other competition going down in Tennessee. Go to the forum on Chicagotribe.com and check out the discussion board...

But from what Waka was saying, it was for sure not going to be in Chicago. Maybe my boy Daylight will get a hold of Check-It and I can get the full deal.

On the off chance, did you see a skinny white kid with nice tops and a lot of flexibility? He might have been introducing himself to everyone as Sequel....

That's my boy Travis from MN. Anyway, he busted in some circles; he's got a real stand-outish style. He said that the only other one that really had tops was Erupt from Funk Crushers. Everyone else was on some power shit.

I dunno, I probaly saw him but don't remember exactly. I don't remember anyone introducing themselves either... Was he close to the stage, close to the front near the entrance, near the wall with the windows, or near the other wall with that other room??? If I'm thinking right, he was near the stage on the right... I dunno, I'm probaly wrong....

BTW, I'm still learning all these peps crews and names, so sorry if I don't know exactly who you're talking about all the time.
