hey guys, was just curious, if anyones familiar with the move that abstract flexi bboys do where they like fold their knee right up to their torso and hold it there . not sure if that really makes sense but in this battle between bboy arthur and bboy sick, they did that alot .

so yeah my question is what are some good stretches to develop that kind of flexibility in the knees such as that ? thanks in advance, peace .

fer knee flexibillity the main thing is to just practice lotuses....then just make them tighter and tighter...then like at the end of yer streching ull be able to crawl through yer legs with out practicing that...well thats how it is fer me anyways...hehehe

haha aite thanks for the advice . but the angle they stretch their knees is kinda the opposite of a lotus . will just practicing lotuses develop the knees to able to bend at that angle ?

welll im not sure what move yer talking about but it sounds like where you just stick yer leg over yer hand and pull it down untill its behind yer back.
so yeah, it bends the same way as the lotus..meaning the leg that goes ferst and at the bottom in a lotus is the one that goes behind yer head.

they dont really stretch the knee.
its asking for injury.
its more of the hip joint and groin muscles...

^listen to him, not kryptonite.

if you stretch your knee, you'll tear your knee. it's a joint. you might strengthen other things in the area, but you won't directly stretch your knee. the key to lotus is flexibility in the hips, specifically the bottom side of your ass.

bending your knee the opposite way from lotus is a quadricep flexibility. you probably stretch it in PE, but no one takes those stretches seriously anyway.

well methores, now im werried, cuz whenever lotus i feel the strech er whatever in my knee...so that mmeans im doing it wrong?

yes. i know a couple bboys who thought lotus flexibility was all about the knees and they fucked their knees up badly trying to stretch it. don't stretch your knees!

if you keep bending your elbow backward, do you think it'll start to bend backward more? or do you think one day it'll go CRACK?
