Blow ups Aieeeee Need help - 05-24-2007, 01:03 AM

Yo I've been trying to get from a head stand and shoot up onto one hand. Is there a trick to this cause. I can actually barbell press my body weight* standing * 5 times yet I cant shoot up onto my one hand...

I also cant blow up from an elbow to a one hander.


Any help besides kick like a maniac. :|

headstand to onehanded handstand.....

KICK your legs up and lean towards your hand


i have yet to try this, i can do head to hands tho

yeah I can do it with both hands no prob but one handed is tuff. I saw a bboy do it once so easily... he could practically live on one hand though *( power bboys )*

Try to explode with force into the one-hander, if you're thinking of it like a barbell press it prolly won't work unless you got super strength.

Hmm ill try and explain it in short. WHen your in a handstand, your full balanced on two hands. you basically want to arch your side while your in the handstand, so both your legs start to slightly move to the left or right...with that being said it alters that center of balance, and youll either naturally shift your weight on one hand, or just pick up the other hand and call it ez =) I learned them from 1990's. after those...one handed are ez

actually you dont need that much strength to kick into it from headstand into a onehanded or a pike. try not to kick like a maniac, make your kick controlled and try to create momentum. if you do a onehander on your right hand kick more to the right side and push up with both hands. when you get into the air turn into the pike and lift ur other hand off the ground
