I think we need a guide on how to get the knee flexibility or the ankle flexibility to get it. Usually guides on kicking into lotus show good ways to stretch groin muscles because...that's...what flex you need?
I'm not sure...but when I do the stretches that kicking into lotus guides tell me to do, I usually end up stretching my groin area than my knees.(which sucks btw because I can almost do splits but not lotus).
most Yoga "guides" usually just say "if you can't do the lotus try half-lotus."
lotus isn't that hard, i got it my first try. now kicking into lotus with no hands is a diffrent story i can barley work on them cuz i always hurt my leg from kicking it so much
