there are two kinds of "C-walk" :

1. Crip walk - the "GANGSTER" c-walk which involves gang rituals and spelling CRIP with your feet. It's SLOW, and the only moves are V's, limited V variations, and shuffles.

2. Clown walk - is the ACTUAL DANCE... it's FASTER, actually MUCH faster, with a lot more basic moves: heeltoes, x-hops, shuffles, shuffle spins, drops, various V variations, and is NO WAY A GANG SYMBOL....
it's totally a dance, in which you combine moves to CREATE YOUR OWN STYLE...

yes, it ORIGINATES from "CRIP walk" which is a gang symbol, but since so many ppl CLOWN WALK these days, it's part of hiphop and has become a DANCE....~~~
