boomerangs aren't a float. but thanks for that input, its more of a freeze that takes alot of core strength

As freeze it looks like this: boomerang freeze

a boomerang flip is like an off axis (crooked) backflip.

but a boomerang stall is exacly what HP-Bboys posted.

There is such thing as a boomerang Freeze just as Hp-Bboys said. But it is also a float. A very difficult and under-used move to master. The Boomerang float involves being able to excute a Boomerang Freeze, and also having enough strength, willpower and balance, to be able to turn in a circle, or walk forwards, sideways, backwards, etc. The only person i've seen do a Boomerang float is Physicx, if my memory serves me right. In a crew battle (Rivers vs. Style one) i think its still on Youtube somewhere. But sometime during tht battle, Physicx does a Boomerang float.

who the hell is this guy?
boomerangs are my new favourite move.
from what i see, like many other floats u can enter from a windmill, it looks like going mill>flare except u instead of letting ur body go around ur arms, u do like u do with any other float and let the momentum carry while you re-cock ur hands.
(thats just how i think its done, might be completly different but from that vid thats how it looks)

Wake-up hits boomerangs pretty hard. But i still think it's a float if you spin it with one hand.

boomerang->pike = god. And wake up gets no love from the crowd... dog.

http://www.bboyzone.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=1162

thats the only guide i could find
for some reason, neither of my computers, or my friends, can load the page though :S
well my computer loads it.. after like 20 minutes, then u have to register, which is nearly impossible because the registration page takes even more time to load, more time being never loads..

if anyone can manage to load that page, copy the info on it and post it here please. this float is too awesome..

thanks peace

Here is a step by step guide to achieving boomerangs and all its variations.

Part #1: Stretching

~The butterfly stretch
1. Sit on the floor with your back straight, your legs tucked in and your feet on the floor. Your knees should be together.
2. Start seperating your knees and slowly lower them towards the ground. Make sure your feet are together, if you can't hold them together with both of your hands.
3. Lean foward with your body, you should feel the stretch by now. Try to go past the limit by either lean foward more or pushing your legs closer to the ground.
4. Try to exceed your limit everyday untill both of your knees touch the ground. If you want even better boomerangs try to touch the floor with your nose. Practice the stretch around 5-10 minutes every day.

This is the most important stretch to achieve boomerangs. The better you are at this stretch the better balance you have when you are executing boomerangs.

~Wrist stretches

1. Rotate your hands in a circular motion without moving your arms.
2. Using one of you hands, grab the palm of your other hand and push it down in the direction of your forearm. Hold it ther for 5 seconds. Then do the same thing with your other hand.

The flexibilty of your wrist is important as well because it is where you will be putting your weight on.

Part #2 The boomerang position:

1. Sit on the ground with your back straight, tuck your legs in and make sure the bottom of both of your are touching. You knees you be touching the ground or close to the ground. Just like your butterfly stretch. You should have a diamond shaped gap to put your hands in.
2. Put your hands in the gap. Your palms should be flat on the floor, and your fingers should be facing opposite ways, left and right. There should be some space between your wrists but you don't want to much space.
3. PUSH DOWN WITH YOU HANDS AND LEAN FOWARD! This is the essential step on how to levatate in the boomerang position. Hold it there for as long as you can. Don't lean foward to much or too little. You need perfect balance. Your wrists and forearms may hurt a little but they will eventually become stronger. However, there is more balance involved the strength, so it is crucial that you learn how to balance in the postition.
4. When you become better at this position and it doesn't hurt and all, you can try spreading your legs out and locking your knees. This is not neccesary but boomerangs look best with your legs in a v position (thats why their call boomerangs).

Part #3 Adding Motion (clockwise):

1. Go into the boomerang position. We will assume that your right hand is in 3 o clock position and your left hand is in 9 o clock position.
2. Lift up your right hand and turn it to four o clock position like on a clock. Then lift your left hand up and turn it to ten o clock position. Make sure your hands are facing in opposite directions again. Remember to shift wieght on your hands to be able to lift your hands off. In the beggining you might only be able to lift your wrists up but you will get stronger after some practice.
3. Repeat step two over and over again. It is hard to gain a lot of momentum in boomerangs but you will eventually get faster. You can also try walking fowards first because it is much easier to do so.

Step #4 Different Variations:

1. Boomerang spins:
With boomerang spins you put your dominant hand in the gap and the other hand out. You will be spinning on something like a cloth as you would on a handglide. Using your outer hand, push backwards so you spin on your dominant hand. Keep spinning to gain momentum.

2. UFO look a like boomerangs:
After you get enough momentum on your boomerang spins, you can take your outer hand and press it on top your spinning hand to make them look like UFOs.

3. One handed boomerang spins:
Even though i can't do it myself but you can lock your knees and take your out and to grab your foot while spinning.

Step #5 Combos:

~Boomerangs to handglides
~Boomerangs to ufos
~Boomerangs to 90's
~Boomerangs to 2000's
and any other combo you can think of

Hope you liked my guide!

Peace~
